Meeting Minutes
May 8, 2018
Present: Leslie O’Connor, Brenda Moriarty, Tom Unger and Louis Russo
Call to order at 4:05 PM
Approval of minutes for the April 10, 2017 meeting:
Motion to accept by T. Unger, seconded by B. Moriarty. Motion was carried by a unanimous vote.
Community Outreach:
- Library presentation; L. O’Connor Briefed committee on her presentation and what others had to offer.
- Presentation ideas; Discussed a possible showing of the film ‘Plastic Ocean’ for students and/or adults and an appropriate venue.
- The new widget is now in place and functioning on our Town web page.
- Mid-summer Festival; Looking into a booth and associated costs.
New Business:
- A ‘Trex box’ (plastic bag recycling) is now in place at the library.
- L. O’Connor to contact the first selectwoman concerning the status of the updated ordinance.

A motion was made at 5:13 PM by to adjourn by T.Unger, seconded by B. Moriarty. Motion was carried by a unanimous vote.
